Your exciting journey to the mesmerizing Sundarbans begins at 8 AM with a departure from Kolkata (city hotels/airport). The scenic 3-hour drive via the Basanti-Canning Highway will offer you glimpses of Kolkata’s morning charm and the calm countryside. You will arrive at Godkhali jetty by 11 AM, the gateway to the Sundarbans National Park. After a short 1-minute walk, board your cruise, where you will be welcomed with freshly cut coconut water and refreshments.

Next, cross the river and disembark at Gosaba. Take a 20-minute toto ride to Hotel Sonar Bangla, where you’ll check in by 1 PM. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the resort's restaurant. In the afternoon, relax or explore the property, enjoying the serene surroundings.

As evening sets in, embark on a sunset cruise along the Sundarbans riverbanks, where you might spot fishermen working their nets. After the cruise, return to the resort and unwind. Wake up to the peaceful ambience of the world’s largest mangrove forest and enjoy a hearty breakfast at the restaurant. Then, head out for your morning wildlife adventure, visiting Sajnekhali Watch Tower, Sudhyanyakhali Watch Tower, and Sarrakhali Islands via Pirkhali 1 and 2. Keep a sharp eye out for local wildlife such as wild boars, spotted deer, otters, kingfishers, darters, and estuarine crocodiles.
